A three-hour interactive workshop to introduce business owners to artificial intelligence in a clear, practical, and accessible way.
From marketing and customer service to administration and content creation, AI is already transforming how businesses operate. Tools like Microsoft Copilot make it possible to automate repetitive tasks, generate ideas, analyse information, and save significant time – allowing business owners to focus on what really matters: growth, relationships, and innovation.
This course is designed to demystify AI, provide practical hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, and give small business owners the confidence to start using AI immediately in a way that adds real value..
What you will cover:
The session covers real-world application, demonstrating how AI can support key areas such as marketing, content creation, customer communication, and general business efficiency. The session also will see how tools like Copilot can help save time, generate ideas, and improve consistency, making day-to day operations more effective and less time-consuming.You will also explore the limitations, risks, and responsibilities of using AI. This includes understanding where human input remains essential, recognising issues such as bias and over-reliance, and applying ethical and responsible AI principles.
What you will achieve:
A strong focus of the workshop is hands-on learning. Participants will actively use Copilot to create content, test prompts, and explore practical business scenarios such as writing marketing plans, social media posts, and emails. This interactive approach ensures that attendees build confidence quickly and leave with outputs and ideas they can apply immediately in their own businesses.
The workshop concludes by helping participants identify clear next steps for integrating AI into their business, ensuring they leave with both confidence and a practical plan of action.
Participants will need to bring their own laptop or suitable device to take part in practical activities using Microsoft Copilot, along with access to a Microsoft account. A basic level of digital confidence is recommended to ensure participants can fully engage with the session.
