Workshop Overview:
Invest East Yorkshire have commissioned a brand new two and a half hour interactive workshop, run by industry experts in HR. This fully funded, in-person, practical session will give you a perfect foundation from which to start building your team, and will cover:
· Setting up as an employer and what you need to have in place – covering payroll, pensions, contracts and policies
· Recruiting the right person – hints and tips for hiring the best people
· Creating the right culture and employee experience – onboarding and employee engagement
· Your legal responsibilities and duty of care to your staff.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll gain the knowledge, confidence and useful takeaway documents to take your initial step into employing your first person.
