Major office deals underline Humber Enterprise Park’s growing appeal

Significant new office lettings at Humber Enterprise Park are reinforcing East Yorkshire’s reputation as a prime location for business investment and growth.

More than 40,000 sq ft of office space has been let at the Brough-based business park in a series of deals described as among the largest in the region since the end of the Covid pandemic.

The lettings follow substantial investment at the 79-acre site by owner Westcore Europe, which has overseen a major refurbishment programme after acquiring the former BAE Systems facility. The transformation is already attracting high-profile occupiers and encouraging existing tenants to expand.

The latest arrival is CPM Crown, part of global process solutions specialist CPM Holdings, which has taken 11,500 sq ft of office space on a 15-year lease as it brings together its European operations at Humber Enterprise Park. The move supports a growing team relocating from Hessle and creates a long-term base for further expansion in the region.

Alongside the new letting, an existing occupier has secured an additional 18,000 sq ft of office space on a 10-year lease. FTSE-listed Cranswick has doubled its footprint at the park, while Pure Renewables has trebled its space just two years after first moving onto the estate. Long-term lease renewals have also been agreed with Morson Projects and Globalview Systems, meaning the park’s refurbished office suites are now fully occupied.

Paul Brustad, Director at Citivale, asset manager for Westcore Europe, said the level of demand reflected the quality of the investment and the strength of the location.

“To complete deals on this scale and welcome a tenant of the calibre of CPM Crown is hugely positive. At the same time, existing occupiers choosing to expand and commit long-term speaks volumes about how they value Humber Enterprise Park and East Yorkshire as a business base.”

Attention will now turn to the park’s remaining industrial and warehouse opportunities, with more than 230,000 sq ft of space available across refurbished units, offering further potential for job creation and inward investment.

For CPM Crown, the move to Brough supports a shift to more collaborative and flexible ways of working, with its new offices designed to accommodate training, customer engagement and future growth, including the potential for specialist demonstration facilities.

Humber Enterprise Park is just one example of how East Yorkshire is supporting business growth through high-quality sites, skilled talent and strong transport links.
