Grow your business with our series of practical, in-person workshops, designed to give you the essential skills and knowledge you need to succeed. These free sessions are open to businesses based in the East Riding of Yorkshire and are held at various locations across the region. Each workshop lasts between 2 to 3 hours and covers vital areas including Marketing, Finance, Legal Compliance, and Business Planning.

This workshop provides a foundation in marketing, helping you understand how to research your market, analyse competitors, and choose the right approach to reaching your customers. You’ll explore core concepts like the 4 Ps, branding, methods of marketing, and come away with the tools to build a marketing plan that works.

By the end of this session, you will:
• Know how to conduct basic market and competitor research
• Understand key marketing principles including the 4 Ps and branding
• Learn about different types of marketing and how they work together
• Identify the best route to market for your business
• Be able to create a marketing plan
• Understand the basics of selling to customers.
