Sher King launched Botany Boutique in Hornsea with a passion for plants and local craftsmanship. What started as a small shop has blossomed into a vibrant artisan collective of over 40 local creatives—thanks to the fully funded support from Invest East Yorkshire. 

Through one-to-one advice, expert-led training, branding support, and grant funding, Invest East Yorkshire helped Sher and her team transform Hornsea’s Southgate into a buzzing hub of creativity and commerce.

Now, both Botany Boutique, Number Nine and the Hornsea Collective are thriving—and so is the wider high street community.
